Fictional

I delivered on this. The Zodiac Killer is a vampire! The Zodiac Killer is Jack the Ripper. He doesn't simply take after him. Now, the Zodiac Killer uses ancient symbols, possibly because he is. Nevermind, he wasn't an Egyptian Zodiac Killer.

As for fiction, the Zodiac Killer claims he was inspired, had written a letter blaming a "blueprint." Here is a little fact: English teachers solved his 408 code. So of course he was talking about fiction.

His letter leaves things open to interpretation that there are works of volume which the Zodiac Killer took. The Zodiac Killer was inspired by Jack the Ripper. He writes himself as "impressionable"; Well, here's the catch: I think the "My Name Is cipher" with its loopy symbols could be a ninja name, a coded comic book character that kills people. I solved it in fact, here.

One to walk the Earth with the Fallen, maybe the killer is a vampire. Anne Rice was written in the 70's. The Zodiac Killer is a fictional character, possibly the inspiration of Anne Rice's "Lestat", if you ask me. It's as simple as saying a "Little List."
